![]() There is zero issue with system resources or heat! Of course Windows has always been an unpredictable platform because of the MANY third parties who either write poorly developed drivers OR just simply updating older ones that dont mesh well with the always updating windows environment. Latency Mon has consistently pointed high DPC latencies with freshly updated NVIDIA and sytem updates. I have been through EVERY posted and conceivable “fix” I could find or reason about! I do not have the issue with ANY other quality ASIO driver such as The Focusrite ASIO when using the external device as the audio converter as opposed to the sound converters built into the Prime 4, in which the Denon Windows ASIO driver 1.0.2, which is several years old. I’m not sure if I’m explaining it clearly. I would hate to believe that Denon and its affiliated partners/ owners would allow such an expensive piece of gear and its devoted used to be left hanging! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone…ANYONE look into this and allow us to be happy and promoting Denon fans/ users by updating the ASIO driver that works as consistently and reliably as the Pioneer or Focusrite ASIO drivers! Thank you! I will be EAGERLY awaiting some type of rectification! This had led me to the conclusion that the Denon ASIO driver has either been poorly developed OR has become FAR outdated and now is virtually USELESS. I have connected several external audio cards such as Focusrite 4i4 using its own ASIO and wa-la ZERO problems. This issue I am having is glitches with the AUDIO stream only! I have tried every workaround under the sun to resolve this and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING works…the glitches “may” go away for a short period, but ALWAYS returns before long…usually under an hour. I am using it with windows 11 i9 maxed 64GB RAM 2 GEN 4 NVME DRIVES and a 12GB VRAM NVIDIA 3080. mp4’s and I have not found ANY other software that can provide that. ![]() I am using it with Virtual DJ because of the need for a flexible dj platform that will allow certain VERY NEEDED features when using. Hello all, I have a PRIME 4 that I purchased about 6 months ago and haven’t had the opportunity to delve into it until recently. Thank you very much again - if you can just say, go ahead, buy the 13'' 2015 Macbook Pro and you can safely play 3-4 Full HD videos at the same time on a single screen I will be satisfied enough. What is the feature or ability you would like to have? I wonder if 1920x1080 visuals would turn to a pixel show in a few meters or should I use 4k definitely? My main concern is that would that work safely on either of the laptops? On the benchmark pages I couldn't figure out if those numbers were for visuals playing simultaneously or just total numbers of visuals that can be added to comp without losing FPS.Īlso a bonus question is that, the screen they have in a venue is about the size of a cinema screen. ![]() It's likely that I will load at least 10-15 1920x1080 visuals to Resolume yet will play only 3-4 full lenght and 1-2 one shot visuals simultaneously with 1 or 2 effects on them. Probably the 2015 Macbook Pro will be handling the audio and my old Macbook Pro the visuals (can switch with your recommendation). (has two video cards / might upgrade this to SSD if you recommend) The one I currently own is a much lower one. Intel Iris Graphics, Force Touch Trackpad I already have one but planning to buy this as the second Ģ.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz, 3 MB shared 元 cache)Ĩ GB 1866 MHz DDR3L RAM 128 GB PCIe-based Flash Storageġ3.3-inch IPS Retina Display, 2560-by-1600 resolution To sum up quickly I will be using two Macbook Pros for the show, one for for the audio, one for the visuals obviously. It's about buying a new laptop obviously. Thanks for understanding and sorry if my question is a bit dull and noobish. Before hand I want to remark that I have done hours of research, browsed through endless benchmark pages yet still don't feel confident enough to make a proper decision and I have to make the decision very very quickly as I have a few shows coming.
